It was lovely to hear them and learn how they ‘trust’ each other as they don’t play with any sheet music, it is all improvised and they feed off each other’s musical patterns and ideas to create different pieces.

Rev Carl asked the children (and adults) how the music made them feel and their responses included:“happy” “content” “reflective” “calm” and the most moving of all came spontaneously from a Reception child who said it made him feel “loved”! The music made them think of a dove, God and one child said “the beginning made me think of a forest of trees being cut down and destroyed but then the music changed and it made me think of the trees growing back again.”
