Residential Visits

After consultation with parents, we are now taking Laurel children on a residential to Windmill Hill PGL every other year.  This means all children will attend a residential either in Year 5 or Year 6 when they are in Laurel class.  The benefits of these visits are numerous and are a highlight of the children’s experience whilst at school. Not only do the children take part in activities we cannot provide at school, but they benefit by learning many skills that help with independence, leadership and organisation.

The cost varies from year to year but we will ensure that all children get the opportunity to enjoy this very valuable experience. If the cost should be a problem for parents we ask them to come into school and discuss this in the strictest confidence.
